Job Description:
Our client, based in Krugersdorp, has a vacancy for a Engineering Production Planner who is proficeint in draughting and strategic management. If you have experience in the stainless steel, metal forming and pressure equirement then this could be the ideal career move for you
Duties & Responsibilities
Planning and overseeing of plant production operations
Generate cut sheets and final assembly drawings
Place requisitions for material
Plan resources for executing the manufacturing of the product
Working alongside the manufacturing team to ensure high quality product
Signing off all completed products
Attend to all administration duties
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures
Responsible for generating works orders to send to factory for production (part electronic, part manual)
Produce workshop / technical drawings for production
Specify materials
Calculate and list material quantities for production
Assist in all areas where and when required working as a team
Desired Experience & Qualification
AutoCAD or Inventor experience
Typical previous experience may include shop fitting / sheet metal work
Knowledge of materials – Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Nickel alloys
Knowledge of manufacturing - metal cutting plus bending, forming, fabrication, painting, assembly
Experience in customized items manufacturing (stainless and carbon steel)
Living in Westrand preferable
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work very accurately
Ability to work without supervision
