MAINTENANCE STOCK CONTROLLER

Stock Controlling: Weekly control of stock levels and reporting of shortages / requirements as per stock control lists.
Replenishing of stock levels as per Manager instruction.
Allocation of Stock to Specific Work Instructions / Job Cards.
Upkeep and neatness of storeroom and workshop to be maintained.
Weekly Collection and Collation of Timesheets.
Submission thereof to Workshop Manager for Sign off.
Submission of Signed off Timesheets to HR.
Daily Submission of Invoices to Manager for Sign off after Replenishment.
Daily / Weekly updating of Information Boards.
Immediate updating of Stock Register.
Daily Activities: Daily fault finding and reporting of such to Maintenance Manager.
Reporting of faulty equipment and / or tools.
Housekeeping and Safety Standards.
Ensures that cleaning and housekeeping standards on equipment and work areas are maintained according to laid down standards and norms.
Ensure Personal hygiene standards are maintained.
Take reasonable care for own health and safety as well as the health and safety of others.
Attend annual and required medical tests in order to ensure they are declared fit for physical performance.
Wear the correct PPE in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
No interference or abuse of any health, safety and environmental welfare equipment.
Be actively involved in the OHS System, partake in OHS activities as and when directed.
Keep work areas clean and free from hazards and risks.
Ability to understand and follow safety measures.
Ensure all regulatory requirements, standards, company systems, procedures and policies are met in all actions on company premises.
Maintain safe work environment by ensuring all pre-inspections and safety checks are done, all machine or electrical operated machinery are locked out and relevant permits are obtained (where required in case of hazardous tasks) before commencement of any job or task.
Upon completion ensure relevant safety and quality checks are conducted and signed off by relevant parties. Team Work. Actively participate as a member of the team.
Performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the manager.
Candidate Qualifications: Degrees / Diplomas / Courses Completed
Computer Literacy strong Excel skills
Valid Drivers Licence
A minimum of 8 years stock control experience in a workshop or technical environment.
Strong knowledge and understanding of technical / maintenance parts and material supplies.
Ensure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activities.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Physical Demands - Must be found medical fit by Occupational Medical Practitioner for job appointed for.
