Multi-National food manufacturer based in the heart of the KZN Midlands.
This role is in the pressurised and competitive environment, servicing the entire KZN region.
Responsible for maintaining and improving existing markets
Identify and capitalise on new opportunities
Cultivate long-term client relationships
Meet agreed-to sales targets
Collaborate with production, logistics and marketing to ensure high levels of service delivery
Providing timeous marketing and competitor intelligence
Interpret monthly sales data and perform monthly sales reviews with key customers
Conduct product training as required
Moderate travel with overnight stays will be required
Matric plus relevant Degree or Diploma
5 - 7 years sales experience in the food industry
Proven track record of being a Hunter
Experience selling a basket of products across multiple channels
Highly articulate, with excellent negotiation, reporting and presentation skills
Adaptable, independent, self-driven individual who is also a collaborative team-player
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Solid understanding of commodity markets
Entry-level technical insight into Food Ingredients - advantageous
