A company based in Balmoral (between Witbank and Bronkhorstspruit, approximately 50minute drive from Pretoria), is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible to oversee the whole operation and optimise and manage production at a high level in the manufacturing plant
Duties & Responsibilities
Main job function
Optimise production
Direct and coordinate production and all plant operations
Direct and coordinate plant maintenance and repairs
Assess and maintain production quality
Prepare and develop detailed cost estimates and budgets and monitor expenditure against same on an ongoing basis
Oversee and implement company procedures
Hire, train, mentor and direct supporting staff, including writing performance reviews and optimising staffing outfits
Discuss and layout project specifications
Make detailed plans to accomplish goals
Establish and implement detailed administrative policies, procedures and standards and monitor compliance with same on an ongoing basis
Analyse and improve plant outputs and processes
Report to senior management in relation to the above responsibilities and prepare detailed reports where necessary
