TOOLROOM PLANNER (Metal Press Plant)– Pretoria East
An Automotive component manufacturing concern is urgently looking to employ a competent Toolroom Planner for their plant in Pretoria East
Qualifications & Experience
N6 + Qualified Toolmaker
4-6 years working experience in a similar position as Toolroom Planner in Metal Press Plant
Sound computer skills
Woking knowledge of planning
Work any shifts and multitask
Must be able to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Inspect machinery/ tools and plan new and ongoing maintenance work.
Oversee tool room workers, assigning tasks, and evaluating completion.
Maintain and oversee invoices, orders, accounting, and contractor work, including writing ongoing work orders.
Order parts, supplies, materials, and inventory to ensure activities can proceed.
Plan and prepare work schedules and services, identify benchmarks for reliability and safety.
Develop strategies for preventive and predictive working systems.
Responsible for ordering parts and making sure that repairs and maintenance are done in an accurate and high-quality manner.
Work closely with the tool room managers to build reliable tool room systems and teams.
Scheduling and planning of cleaning and maintenance on moulds and containers
Planning with scheduling of change
Availability of moulds and containers to schedule plan
Planning of tool changes to meet production
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and adhere to
Ensure that mould changes are completed on time with no impact on production
