Our leading Clearing and Forwarding client are seeking an experienced Clearing and Forwarding New Business Sales Executive to obtain New Business through prospecting, client interface, proposals, estimates and achieving specified sales targets.
They will be responsible for successfully implementing new business obtained and continue to build relationships and service their clients. With a lucrative commission structure in place, there is massive earning potential.
Candidates MUST have a proven track record in Clearing and Forwarding as well as extended knowledge in Logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
Attend and complete the designated training for this program
Shadow sales team and management
Be the first contact between the company and potential customers
Executive level engagement
Operational implementation of new business signed
Tender, proposal and contract development
Stakeholder account and relationship management
Business value propositions
Opportunity analysis and qualification

Ability to cold call.
Acquire strong sales experience.
Ability to problem solve and find a practical solution to issues.
Acquire good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to negotiate.

Ability to understand the business process and interpret business needs.
Be willing to work overtime when required.
Be able to work under pressure and in stressful environments.
Fully computer literate in Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook and Power point.
Matric is essential
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales in Clearing and Forwarding
Be well versed in solution selling
Must be able to provide proof that you are currently achieving sales target
Required to build own book of blue-chip clients
Strong administrative skills and computer skills
Proven track record in sales
Analytical and mathematical skills to assist in quotations
Great organizational and time management skills
