Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Server Engineer with 10+ years relevant experience in management of the Storage and Server (Physical & Virtual) Infrastructure including Windows Environment
Duties & Responsibilities
Must have NQF Level 6
Valid Microsoft Engineer Certificate such as MCSE
Valid N+ certification
Valid Virtualization Certificate such as VMWare VSphere
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Required skills and knowledge
Administration of the Windows environment such as Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, WSUS and File Servers
Experience on Virtual platforms such as HyperV or VMware
Administration of the messaging platform (Microsoft Exchange & MimeCast)
Knowledge of LAN / WAN, and Firewalls
Solid knowledge of server support (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,)
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, ISO network layers)
Office 365 knowledge / MS Office suite
Administration of the backup and system recovery tools such as Veritas Backup Exec and Veema
