A leading company within the FMCG industry has an opportunity for an Admitted Attorney with 3 - 5 years post qualification experience in a in-house legal departmen to join their Group Legal Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum requirements:
B Com or LLB Degree
Admitted Attorney with 3 - 5 years post qualification experience in a in-house legal department
Duties include but is not limited to:
Providing legal advice and opinions
Assessing legal and regulatory risks affecting the business and providing recommendation on possible risk mitigation steps
Contract management
Evaluating proposed legislation, understanding its impact on business operations and communicating implications of new or amended legislation with strategic proposals
Providing continuous updates on legal developments in South Africa relevant to business operations
Gathering opinions on specific legislative proposals
Identifying potential areas of legal risk and vulnerability for the organisation
Package & Remuneration
R 600 000 - 800 000 Annually
