Job Description:
My Client who is in the agricultural Industry is urgently looking for a Production Planner

Duties & Responsibilities
Receiving all production requests from Agents

Arranging the requests into an acceptable daily plan in consultation with Plant Manager

Send approved provisional plan out every Thursday to Agents and Transport Co-ordinators

Check orders on plan to ensure they are all active approved orders

Allocate loading numbers to these orders

Send list of all problem orders to Regional Offices for them to correct and release orders

Send out final schedule every Friday

Ensure that obscure raw materials are ordered to cover the required production plan

Compile daily list of all loads collected as well loads not collected and send to Transport Co-ordinators and AMM’s for distribution to Agents

Handle daily changes to week’s schedule as and when Agents send in these changes

Keep records of daily production and dispatches for quick reference to any queries

Send an updated schedule daily by 12 noon to Transport co-ordinator to confirm next day’s loads

Prepare BOMs daily for production and get labels printed

Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12/Matric

Completed relevant Qualification would be an advantage

Must be able to work independantly and be a good communicator

Prioritise working day be very organised

Must be a self starter

Computer literate in XL, word and preferably SAP and Sizanani

Must be fully bilingual - not just understand!!!

Able to handle pressure
