Job Description:
Introduction
Our Durban based client is urgently looking for a SHERQ Co-ordinator
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain legal compliance requirements according to the OHSA 85 of 1993 and standards
Ensure that all requirements for the SHE management system is implemented and in readiness for external verification audits
Ensure that all contractors have necessary documentation in place prior to performing
Inspect work of contractors, to ensure that compliance
Conduct induction training for employees, contractors, clients
Ensure that the SHE necessary training is delivered to employees requiring same
Ensure that all SHE maintaince schedules are monitored and updated for completion
Conduct internal SHE audit reports and compile monthly statistics on incidents
Coordinate monthly SHE meetings, and provide required statistics and information

Investigate any injury, incident or damage with a view of Health and Safety according
Ensure that ISO certification is retained for the facility.
Ensure that procedures and work instructions are reviewed annually, for assessment of applicability or improvements,
Ensure that all employees are trained on procedures and work instructions and records are maintained
Ensure that all Quality Work Instructions and or revision updates, are stored as per company EDMS requirement,
Manage conformance to procedures and work instructions, and address areas of non conformance in line with the
Ensure that the implemented Quality management system continues to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008
Manage document revisions (drafting through to implementation)
Manage the internal audit schedule and management review meetings
Ensure that all incidents / accidents are reported through to the Facility Management, Risk Manager and
SHERQ Manager
Monitor and audit the ISO 9001/2008 system and ensure compliance with standards
Control and analyse non-conformances, complaints and suggestions and compile reports
Maintaining of all necessary
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum matric level of education
Qualification or progression towards a Risk or Compliance qualification
Qualification in Implementation and Evaluation of Quality Management Systems
Proven experience in managing SHERQ activities
Minimum two years
Should have experience in a Warehouse environment (1-2 years)
