Duties & Responsibilities
Manage operations within allocated budget and identify maintenance risks on client equipment and assets for evaluation and resolution.
Execution of all maintenance and activities through the effective utilization of available manpower.
Plan and manage the Care team and General Handymen work schedules within the agreed SLA. All extensions to be approved by the Building Manager.
Report to Technical manager, allowing for the skills development.
Serve as a project team member on specific projects in the absence of the Technical manager. (installation, maintenance, upgrade, site-commissioning and refurbishment projects)
Ensure that Help desk calls are logged and planned maintenance work done by the handymen
Manage staff performance and facilitate improvement through regular performance monitoring and feedback, providing required coaching support where necessary.
Ensure that correct Maintenance processes and procedures are followed, providing feedback to the technical manager where necessary.
Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety standards, as well as working environment standards.
Group Risk, Security Services, etc.) Include Risk Assessments, PPE and tool box talks
Serve as a ADHOC member of the managed site/s emergency and disaster recovery teams, and to provide support to tenants with their business continuity needs
Desired Experience & Qualification
National Diploma/Degree in Engineering: Civil/Mechanical/Electrical / Trade Certificate or related formal qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management .
