Based just outside Pmb our client requires an Admin Assistant - Inventory Control to control Finished Goods Inventory. The incumbent's time will be split equally between stock control on their computer and physical stock checks in the cold room.
Control of finished goods stock levels on the inventory control systems
Investigate stock variances
Any DC related Admin
SAP computer skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Check daily production variances
Complete stock transfers on SAP
Daily checking of finished goods stock reports
Manage and/or maintain of the stock control software
Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly stock takes
Investigation of any variances
Generating reports for management review
Ensure company stock information is correct, maximise stock system and accuracy
Responsible for liaising with Production and Accounting departments for stock counting accuracy and information
Stock Reconciliation – WMS with SAP
Constant monitoring of finished goods stock to ensure the theoretical and actual stock levels balance at all times. Ensure stock variances are investigated and highlight to the relevant people.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification in administration, accounting, inventory control, or warehouse management would be an advantage.
Incumbent would need to have an attention to detail, a methodical approach and good problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, as well as strong numeracy skills.
Possible experience would include: Admin assistant, Stock controller, Stores Clerk, accounts, junior accountant (with inventory experience), etc.
Fully computer literate with an ability to operate at an intermediate level on MS Excel.
Experience on SAP would be a big advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
