My client, as well established Audit Firm based in Somerset West is seeking to employ an Audit Senior to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
Support management of client portfolio, consisting of a wide variety of small to medium sized clients, including individuals, trusts, closed corporations, private companies and non-profit organisations.
Planning of audits and related services, the delivery of a support function to directors and managers of the firm, compliance to statutory obligations, as well as dealing with the resulting enquiries.
Delivery of quality work through the maintenance of audit and accounting standards.
Assisting with management and development of audit personnel in group context through the necessary supervisions over planning of audits, monitoring and evaluation of the team’s progress and providing the necessary training.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Completed SAICA Articles;
Experience and good knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, VAT, Income Tax, International Auditing Standards and Companies Act;
Proven competence in the management and planning of client portfolios and staff;
Language skills in Afrikaans and English;
Computer skills in MS Office Suite, e-Filing and CaseWare;
A valid license and own vehicle
