Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, assist the business heads and operational teams with the implementation and delivery of business improvement and governance initiatives. It will also involve analysis and reporting as an input to identifying, prioritising and measuring the success of these opportunities.
Key role responsibilities
Responsible for project management resources (internal & external)
Co-ordinate, track and help the project managers drive the implementation and delivery of multiple projects and operational initiatives
Oversee a team that support the wider business with the first line management and implementation of Risk, Compliance, Audit & regulatory requirements as well as client complaints resolution, responses, monitoring and analytics.
Translate client feedback into operational improvement opportunities.
Liaise with the Cluster and Group in respect of the 2nd line risk, compliance & audit functions.
Responsible for tracking and reporting on key metrics, actual versus targets, milestone delivery.
Liaise with teams to assist with financial analysis & models, business cases construction, business improvement & service delivery opportunities.
Collate formalised business reporting as well as adhoc data, analytical & reporting requests.
Responsible for the support of the operational areas in respect of data governance & integrity.
Oversee a team of data specialists who provide data steward, data integrity, special calculations and analysis services for the wider business.
Minimum of a tertiary qualification, preferably majoring in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
Ideally have a finance / business management background with strong operational, analytical and reporting skills.
Strong leadership capability on a senior level and be able to demonstrate project management/operational delivery.
