Duties & Responsibilities
Collate information and coordinate dissemination meeting packs to meeting attendees.
Accurate minute and finalisation of minutes within agreed timeframes.
Maintenance of CIPC records.
Assist in drafting reports, opinions and memoranda on governance and related matters.
Liaise with the combined assurance function to ensure internal compliance with Group requirements.
Assist with the preparation and facilitation of the group’s annual B-BBEE audit process.
Conduct research on a range of corporate law and governance matters.
Provide a risk-based approach to the management of the Group’s governance and secretarial functions.
Assist with training and ad hoc projects and initiatives.
Review reports for submission to the Board and Board Committees.
Advise the board on Corporate Governance Principles and implementation of programmes and risk management frameworks.
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain governance, risk and compliance policies, processes and procedures.
Desired Experience & Qualification
LLB Degree and admitted Attorney.
CIS an Advantage
5 Years Corporate governance / secretarial experience within the financial services industry.
