Effective planning, management and monitoring of all aspects related to the Facilities Management of the assigned site to ensure that quality standards are maintained and continually improved. To ensure strong customer relationships are built/maintained and expectations are met and managed.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Facilities Manager is responsible for establishing/maintaining policies and work procedures for the operations on the site and to ensure good corporate governance is maintained.
Assume overall accountability for the, planning, scheduling, monitoring and executing all maintenance related aspects, building information management systems, planned inspections and auditing of buildings on the campus.
Be accountable for the management of the operational activities of the various disciplines including but not limited to staff management, financial management and budgeting as well as any other related management issues and client management.
Administration& Management of Portfolio
Financial Budgeting and Cost Control
Utility & Energy Management and Control
Technical Support and Service
Maintenance of Building Assets
The candidate must ideally have a financial/Administration /Technical degree with a proven track record of leading a Facilities team in a Blue-Chip environment.
10 years leadership experience in the Facilities Management industry.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a Facilities or Property Services Environment
Be an Accredited Facilities Professional registered with SAFMA (preferable)
