a Company in Pretoria is currently looking for a Financial Manager to join the team.
The successful person will have a Financial qualification and around 7-10 years of experience in the Financial field. Must have experience on VIP, Pastel and Kerridge will be advantageous.
Experience in People Management, General Bookkeeping, Creditors, Debtors, Cost Control, HR, Payroll.
Duties & Responsibilities
People Management:
Coordinate and manage subordinates, facilitate interdepartmental communication, allocate tasks and resources as needed
Ensure compliance to and implementation of company procedurse and policies as well as legislative requirements pertaining to employees in the department
Coordinate and supply discipline in the department where needed
Liaise with all employees on a regular basis to assist in favorable employment relations
Represent the company where needed at relevant bodies during conciliations and arbitrations
Performance Management and Personal Development:
Identify training and development needs of individuals in the department
Prepare for and conduct bi-annual personal development reviews with sub-ordinates in a fair, positive, and uplifting manner
General Bookkeeping:
Prepare documentation for archiving
Manage filing
Capture invoices
Prepare and balance bank reconciliations
Receive an post payments
Manage banking of cash
Manage and finalise ceramic account
