Our client in the office automation industry and based in JHB is looking for an Export Account Representaive to join their sales team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement the sales plan, for identified cross border Southern African market segment, for existing channel partners, as well as to establish new partnerships to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Build and maintain a strong customer relationship network for the company, especially developing and maintaining critical customer relationships.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a strategy to reach the African market as an independent supplier, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Support the partners in the SADC by managing their range and seeing to the marketing in the respective countries.
Work closely with partners in forecasting, planning, ordering and tracking till delivery.
Tracking and achievement of sales targets.
Manage the preparation and delivery of offers and proposals to strategic and key customers
Liaise closely with marketing team to ensure that partners requirements are met.
Coordinate and facilitate Customer Service operations for the region.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and competitor products, strengths and weaknesses. Apply the knowledge of Company products to customer's needs.
Develop personal contacts with most important customers, represent the company from a Product/Brand point of view with key customers and others, as appropriate.
Extensive travel to SADC countries.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Appropriate Degree qualification (diploma as a minimum)
5-8 years sales experience in OA
SADC Export Sales experience/ Knowledge of markets
Knowledge and Skills
Entrepreneur with customer orientated approach
Must be a self- motivated person capable of working without direct supervision.
Preferably able to converse in Swahili/African language or Portuguese.
Good understanding & appreciation of different cultures and the role they play in the Africa export business
Good financial understanding of business
Good understanding of social demands in Africa and the role they play in business in Africa
Good understanding of politics and the role they play in business in Africa
Good presentation skills & knowledge
