Duties & Responsibilities
SA Stock Brokers Capital is a Registered Financial Services provider and offer Category IIA financial services. SASC creates a seamless interface between the client and one or more of the associated companies providing a full range of financial solutions. SASC primary goal is to ensure that the client’s bespoke financial needs and requirements are fully satisfied by one or more of the selected service providers.
Looking for a candidate to join this SA Stock Brokarage firm and grow your already existing book of clients.
Candidate needs to be qualified as a registered person in Equity, Currency and Commodity Derivatives with the JSE.
Must have a strong mathematical and statistical background with an analytical mindset.
Have strong skills in derivative option pricing models and strategies.
Build and maintain a close relationship with the existing clients of the Company.
Monitor market activity and keep all clients informed.
Interview analysts to generate derivative trade and strategy ideas and discuss with clients.
Distribute trade ideas to clients, follow up and discuss.
Build and maintain relationships with sell side price providers including offshore participants.
Develop and distribute effective daily derivatives activity reports and discuss areas of interest with clients.
Identifying and sourcing of new clients including Pension Funds, Hedge Funds and Asset managers.
Competent in using existing derivatives execution platforms including off market operations.
Knowledge of the required settlement procedure as prescribed by the JSE.
Introduce new products and services to clients.
Act with integrity and professionalism when representing the company.
Act compliant with the Rules and Regulations of the JSE and the Financial Market Act.
