Job Description:
Our client, based in Boksburg, has a vacancy for an Electrical Sales Engineer and is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual with a proven track record of selling high value products
Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve the sales targets as discussed and agreed with management.
Identify projects where the company’s range of products can be used and call on all relevant users / customers in the value chain.
Promote the company and its range of products to all customers in the form of customer calls, technical presentations, sales calls with the objective of getting the company’s products designed in by the users at all levels.
Identify NEW customers/end users of the company’s range of product, call on them and get the products specified.
Call on Existing Customers, Consultants, Project Engineers, Project houses, End users, OEMs, Contractors, and Power Utilities and ensure that the product is specified and continues to be specified and used.
Follow up on enquires and tenders and Identify companies or contractors who have received the projects
Plan and agree on Sales targets as well as Sales budget with management and achieve them.
Obtain orders for the product.
Plan and schedule sales calls.
Report back on daily sales calls in the form of a formal report.
Take any item for delivery if on route or extremely urgent.
Discuss, agree and execute the Company strategy as well as the Sales strategy as set out by the company and its Management.
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
Written quotation using CRM software
Follow up telephonically.
Call on the Technical Consultant, Consulting Engineers, Technical staff and offer technical presentations and sell the product technically utilizing all technical and sales tools available.
Obtain clients requirement.
Work out product options, Quotations or other requirements as demanded by the situation.
Work out costing
Explain features and benefits:

Electrical qualification is essential to the role
