My client based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for a Test Manager to join them on an independent contract basis
Job Title: Test Manager
Test Manager is responsible to ensure that test deliverables produced are delivered on time and created according to the standard defined in the test method and are written to be reusable and auditable.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality control of test cases and results of all the allocated items (per release) within your team
Managing testing progress of allocated items within your team
Managing resources in order to achieve deadlines
Coordinate status reporting of allocated items within your team
Attending meetings and continuous and accurate feedback Test Manager and/or Project Manager
Compiling Test documentation such as Test plans and Test strategy
Requirements:
Matric
ISTQB Foundation, Agile and Test Analyst Certified; Test Manager
Formal Testing Training
8 years of Testing Experience
Exp leading Test teams
Knowledge of SQL for DB querying
Knowledge of JIRA/Agile Methodology
Proficient with QC ALM
