Job Description:
To develop the customer base and market share through day to day sales activity, onboarding of new customers, upgrading and maintenance of existing client base and promoting of new products.
Duties & Responsibilities
Creating and vetting of quality new business sales leads
To build, establish and maintain sustainable customer sales relationships and develop and optimize growth with the business area.
To diligently reach and exceed monthly targets as per set annual target and commission agreement.
Optimise exposure, client presentation and knowledge transfer of new products to the likes of:
Connectivity
Firewall
Unified Communications
Online Back-up
Data Centre Racks / space
Explore innovative alternatives through feasible connectivity in business areas relating to customer requirements.
Develop a high level of business and personal rapport with each customer to ensure business loyalty and sustainable long-term relationships through constantly striving to meet and exceed customer expectations in line with the promise of service excellence.
Effective time management, prioritizing daily and weekly tasks.
Timeously and effectively resolve customer queries.
Process all new order documentation and customer business agreements on SW program.
Communicate relevant feedback from customers relating to updates i.e: name changes, address details banking details etc.
Preparations and submission of accurate new business quotes and tender documentation.
Timeous follow up of all customer related requests.
Relevant sales and customer reporting, as well as internal management reporting.
Monitoring and updating of relevant information on the MIS system.
To remain up to date with latest industry trends, changes and market information.
To achieve Target and KPI’s as per the Target and Commission Structure.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Matric / Grade 12
Relevant tertiary degree or diploma advantageous
Experience selling:
Connectivity
Firewall
Unified Communications, including VoIP and Fibre solutions
Online Back-up
Data Centre Racks / space
Licenses / Certifications:
Valid drivers’ license - light motor vehicle
Own reliable transport required
Confident and experienced within the MS Office suite
Excellent business presentation skills
Confident on the MS Office program with specific reference to Excel.
An excellent command of the English language.
Exposure to professional business systems, MIS systems and related business policies and procedures.
Proven track record of sales successes in both new business and existing customers.
