One of our clients specialising in Road Freight services is looking for an experienced New Business Salesperson to join their team in JHB. The role is responsible for securing new clients, thus requires candidates that are hungry & passionate about chasing sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for securing new clients
Generating leads and scheduling meetings
Manage pipeline to ensure conversion rate is applied and revenue generated to reach targets
Comfortable with presenting to clients
Master and understand market trends
Proven success in your sales ability
Meet and exceed targets
Convert new relationships into repeat business.
Negotiate with the clients and prospective clients
Be able to execute negotiations through prospecting, cold calling, quantifying and closing deals.
Promote the services and products
High administrative capability
Record and report on customer details / sales visits
Ensure weekly /monthly reports are up to date and submitted on time as required by business.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12, relevant tertiary qualification would be an added advantage
Minimum 3 years sales experience in road freight only (not negotiable)
Personality and Attributes:
Strong hunter profile and well-versed seller
Technically savvy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Willing and able to travel
Must have own vehicle
Exceptional work ethic
Dogmatic & passionate about winning new business
