ONCOLOGY NURSE
Dynamic, professional Oncology Practice is looking for a trained/experienced registered nurse. The preferred candidate will have experience with chemotherapy and be familiar with the respective side effects and toxicology levels as well as having a good working knowledge of central lines drug administration and associated trouble shooting abilities. Good communication skills are essential and you will have the opportunity to work within the strongly networked Oncology Centre.
Critical Outputs:
Assist in meeting the requirements of quality patient care and ensuring that nursing care activities are carried out to comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation,policies and procedures.
High professional standards and a commitment to own development.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
Applicant needs to be Registered Nurse with the SANC.
Post registration Oncology qualification. In addition previous Surgical, pain management and counselling experience is desirable although not essential.
