We have a position based in Germiston for a Key Accounts Manager.
Grade 12 or equivalent
Marketing Degree or Diploma and Tertiary qualification in Science NQF 6
5 – 10 years’ experience in the specific discipline in a specialist, supervisor or senior role in a research environment and quality time in a product development, process optimization or similar environment
At least 3-5 years’ in the same or similar position
Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience in a Beer Market/Medical Market/ Cosmetics Market environment would be advantageous
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Key responsibilities will be:
Ensure that solid customer and supplier relations are built, maintained and managed to ensure timely delivery from suppliers, and customer satisfaction (internal or external)
Building solid customer and supplier relationships by managing key accounts, new business development and business growth through the generation of new business
Development and maintenance of a market intelligence system
Managing ad hoc business development projects (Planning, Leading, Organising and Control)
Investigating new business ventures and conducting feasibility studies in line with the business sustainability strategy
Developing, implement and manage operational plans and project plans to align with the strategic objectives
Providing function specific support and advise department members, building capacity and skills through coaching and mentoring
Develop, implement and manage continuous improvement projects as well as process improvement and optimisation initiative to ensure quality outputs
Involvement in development and innovation of products
Analysis if inventory to implement and maintain customer monthly requirements
Ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual departmental reporting which includes progress on stakeholder relations, business and strategic planning
Sales specific support to the division by on time, accurate delivery within budget parameters
Business Improvement initiation and implementation of continuous improvement within distribution
Effective and efficient information reporting to enable strategic decision-making
This is a senior position and comes with a great salary, car allowance, petrol card, cell & laptop.
