Duties & Responsibilities
Our client, a leader within the fruit export industry is seeking to employ a Financial Manager.
You will be responsible for a region and report to the CFO. Ideal candidate must have relevant degree and min 10 years working experience in fruit or agricultural industry.
Shortlisted candidates must be driven and have great attention to detail and deadline driven.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Operational Cost Control & Budget management – forecasting of actual vs budgeted
Capital expense request – analyzing feasibility
Full Accounting Functions for “a region” within – IFRS & US GAAP, external audits and audit findings reporting
Internal controls
Forecasting
Budgeting
GL recons
Working capital – management of farms risk and decrease / AP Management
Legal – managing and administration thereof for project related items
Leader – Guide, lead and mentor your team
MS Office and Accpac experience
Excellent communication and interaction skills at all levels
