Job Description:
IT Solutions company that provides digital transformation, aligning, modernising & streamlining of business operations based in the Sandton area is looking for a Solutions Engineer Lead. Build rapid software prototypes, positions business value and build client’s roadmaps. BSc Computer Science or BCom Information Systems qualification is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main job function
Discover and document prospective client’s solution Roadmap, priorities and use case requirements.
Engage with prospective client’s Technical Evaluation process.
Run industry product demos for business and technical and position the value of the solution.
Position a Rapid Prototype / Proof of concept for the client’s priority use case.
Discover and document prospective client’s key requirements around their priority use case.
Discover and Document prospective client’s critical success factors for the POC.
Build and mobilise POCs for prospective clients.
Present prospective client’s with POC and product and platform benefits.
Develop/Improve technical product presentations.
Discover the client’s environment, platforms and IT landscape to position a platform type and roadmap that is suitable for the prospective client.
Establish and document the prospective client’s business and IT risks.
Drive client’s digital factory setup/ramp-up plan and team onboarding plans.
Plan and provide Bootcamp training to prospective clients.
Provide technical product sales support to Sales Executives.
Support Product Management and Delivery activities with expertise.
Provide technical pre-sales Training to new Sales Engineer/s and Product Manager/s.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
BSC Computer Science or BCom Honours Information Systems
Experience/Criteria
Enterprise Solutions architecture
Agile Methodology
Digital team Leadership
Testing
Experience in UI/UX and/or Business analysis advantageous
5 years in Enterprise application development and agile delivery (Required)
2 years leading an agile digital team (Required
5 Years in a Solution Architect / Solution Consultant, Pre-sales or sales engineering role (Preferable)
3 years of Enterprise Solutions architecture (Preferable)
