Learner: Claims Administrator
Our client in the Umhlanga area is seeking to recruit Learner: Claims Administrators for a one your learnership programme, to be responsible for managing inbound calls relating to all short term, warranty, service and maintenance claims and claim related enquiries.
Responsible for any administration relating to claims processing, intimating or enquiry.
Responsible for managing claims queries raised by policyholders, business partners and internal stakeholders.
Responsible for managing all inbound telephonic calls received in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsible for intimating claims correctly and accurately.
Responsible for attaching all supporting documents to the claim on CADi or Web
Responsible to effectively manage e-mails, faxes and other correspondence received to facilitate effective claims processing.
Responsible for contacting appropriate parties for outstanding documentation to process the claim.
Responsible for confirming the status of the policy on CADi or Web. (i.e. the policy is active and premiums up to date).
Responsible to check whether the policy holder has any other policies administered by the company and if so, advise the relevant department of a claim received.
Pro-actively provide feedback to all relevant stakeholders.
Pro-actively escalate all urgent issues and/or queries to the Claims Manager.
Responsible to update CADi or Web accurately to facilitate the quality and completeness of system data.
Responsible for Ad hoc administrative tasks relating to Claims or Claims administration
Responsible for incorporating the principles of TCF into role outcomes.
At least 2 to 3 years’ previous, relevant work experience in customer services, a call centre or insurance administration is required.
