We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is specifically versed in e-Commerce and Social Media to join a vibey Marketing Team in Durban! This person will monitor trends and oversee promotional and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for each brand, it's product and it's service.
Support the marketing manager in organising various projects. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
Create branded advertising campaigns, support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content. Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
Create, maintain and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all media avenues.
Write engaging and shareable content across different platforms, including social media, websites and emails. Ensure content is well researched, accurate, balanced and well written. Brief graphic designer and web developer on all campaign content to be designed and uploaded.
Managing brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness and drive sales.
Create a brand strategy, style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term for each brand.
Plan, present and execute complete marketing campaigns and activities with elements such as e-newsletters, social media posts, website elements, imagery and or videography and artwork per brand.
Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities.
Liaise with external vendors to source point of sale items terms of branded diaries, gifts, novelties, banners, signage etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Competencies & Experience:
Experience in Marketing Assistant or Marketing Coordinator Role.
Strong computer literacy, Excel advance and Power Point skills.
Project management experience. Evidence of projects worked on.
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
Experience in ecommerce, Email marketing, and social media.
Valid driver's licence with own transport.
Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time with minimum supervision.
Analytical reporting abilities & aptitude in problem-solving.
Creative mind, with excellent written & verbal communication skills (essential).
Ability to interact, communicate & present ideas.
Ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns.
Detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences.
A Degree in Marketing.
