Job Description:
My Client in the Building & Construction industry is looking for a Production Administrator for their operation in Benoni. This position will report to the Office Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Production Administration (Primary Function)
Delivery note queries
Delivery note filling and check for completeness of sequential numbering
Credit note and re-invoicing
Other suppliers (including Diesel, utilities and rentals)
Quotes
Orders
Invoicing
Sales (Secondary Function)
Answering incoming calls
Assist customers with Quotes
Confirm Orders
Do proforma invoices for PBD customers who placed orders
Scheduling pumps
Arranges site checks for pumping
Send POP to HO to allocate
Confirm new mixes
Assist clients with queries in relation with sales
Follow up on quotations
Ordering of RAW Materials at the Regional Office Level
6 months orders to be issued based on pricing
1 April bulk order cement as per budget for whole year
Non-Internal suppliers aggregates we should make sure we can cancel the order at any time
Processing of Raw Material
Weekly check if the receipts of raw materials on batching systems captured corresponds with delivery notes
Daily capturing of deliveries on Excel sheet
Order and receipting of maintenance
Job cards non-negotiable for all repairs and filed by truck
Stock take for workshop and boilershop
Production
Assist customer with problems that may arise during the pour
Place orders on batch sheet
Send pump site check to pump supplier that serves as confirmation that order is booked
Call batch plant to check on execution of deliveries
Scheduling of Trucks
Check batch sheets and send to plants
Batchman
Load quotations on Batchman
Load orders on Batchman
Sales completeness check (before 12:00) to verify cubes, price, client, pumps add, all delivery notes pulled through
Check "sad face" errors
