Duties & Responsibilities
Description: A company selling laboratory equipment requires a Vacuum pump technical sales consultant to join their team. Key requirements will include but are not limited to: Consistent Target Achievement through effective Pipeline Management Plans & Strategies. Retain, Maintain and Develop existing Customer Accounts through customer account management, finding solutions, and adding value. Repair existing customer accounts through building rapport, finding solutions, and adding value. Build New Business through effective lead generation strategies, pipeline management plans & strategies. Build, Maintain and Consistently update the Customer Database, through capturing contact details accurately, and keeping notes on all interactions with customers on ERP software or other databases as requested/required. Constantly learn about the products that the company has on offer that fall within your Product Range. Apply what is learned through the Sales Training & Coaching being implemented by the company. Must have a hands-on and solutions orientated approach. The suitable candidate will be required to climb under/over/on machinery, lifting machinery, installing, testing and removing machinery for repairs etc. It requires visiting Existing Customers, re-activating dormant customers, looking for new customers, to promote, market, sell, install and on occasions service, vacuum pumps.
Key Requirements: Valid Driver’s licence. Minimum of 2-3 years Sales Experience Must have own laptop. Relevant technical qualification. Target driven with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Remuneration: Market Related
