This is a 2 year fixed term contract based in Cape Town
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the programme in embedding sound policies, processes and systems to ensure strong financial management and compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements i.e. support the budget development, main the project cost activities, report on monthly financial performance, preparation of financial reports etc.
An undergraduate or equivalent degree in Accounting or CIMA part qualified
3 - 5 years relevant accounting/reporting within a multi donor environment
Previous experience in the non profit sector
Computer literate MS Office, business accounting systems and reporting packages essential
