Job Description:
A pharmaceutical manufacturer and wholesaler, providing a dynamic range of products and services is seeking a Packing Line Administrator who will ensure compliance to good manufacturing practice and good laboratory practice at all times
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Job Outputs:
Performing line opening and line clearance
Acting in the absence of team leader
Ordering packing material as required
Performing in process checks as per PDR
Performing document reconciliation at the end of the batch
Completing log books
Performing all relevant Oracle transactions
Conveying instructions from the team leader or Shift Leader
Packing products as per packaging process in line with the packing documents
Washing and cleaning all the equipment's used on the line
Carrying out any tasks related to the packaging process
Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the Shift leader and Production Pharmacist
Ensuring that the working area is cleaned and tidied to an acceptable level of GMP at the end of runs
Adhering to the GMP at all times
Ensuring that the quality of product produced complies to the company standards
Knowing and understanding the relevant company procedures
Reporting all quality problems to the team leader, Shift leader or Production Pharmacist
Adhering to time keeping, attendance and productivity requirements in line with MBU goal alignment
Actively participating in the MBU processes
Identified innovation to improve productivity
Participating in identifying safety hazards and eliminating them in the working area
Applying on relevant PPE and be responsible for the issued PPE at all times
Ensure preparation to put in extra effort
Working overtime if necessary and work on other packing lines when required
Attending to all relevant GMP training sessions as per the training schedule
Adhering to safety practices

Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
Post-basic Pharmacist's Assistant Certificate NQF Level 5
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Oracle
Experience:
Basic GMP and GLP knowledge or exposure
Preferably 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
