The candidate will be responsible to generate new business
Grade 12 with a relevant degree/diploma will be definite advantage
Industry specific experience advantages
Must be a “Hunter”
Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
Proven knowledge of and experience in sales of Logistics services
Above average computer skills in all MS Packages
Must have above average communication and interpersonal skills – Afrikaans essential
Demonstrates expertise in the whole distribution field (Primary, Secondary, Warehousing and Consolidation)
Be able to execute negotiations through prospecting, cold calling, quantifying and closing deals
Master and understand market trends and seasonality in the market
Convert new relationships into repeat business
Develop and maintain strong trade relations with key decision makers
Conducts financial feasibility studies and develops proposals for new business opportunities
Must be able to use initiative and capable of working independently (self-directed)
Attention to detail
Willing and able to travel
