Job Description:
Looking for an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist for our client based in Pretoria.
Duties & Responsibilities
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity or equivalent qualification
Experience:
10+ years of direct work experience in designing, testing, and implementing disaster recovery plan for IT environment (including data centres, apps, and systems etc.)
8+ years of documenting and maintaining a disaster recovery plans
5+ years of IT Systems backup management. Understanding of DR and backup solutions/systems and processes
8+ years of working knowledge of IT infrastructure platforms, including network and server architecture, virtualization, Databases and VoIP.
Must possess strong analytical, managerial, and organizational skills, and must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with multiple teams and Business units across the organisation.
