Duties & Responsibilities
Duties
Implement & manage an effective maintenance solution within the region of responsibility in accordance with the SLA.
Drive effective maintenance strategies i.e. planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance
Identify maintenance risks on property and equipment towards evaluation and resolution
Implementation HSE, Quality & Risk Management systems
Ensure optimum utilization of available resources in various maintenance works
Ensure delivery of parts and spares for effective maintenance execution. Manage the stores and related functions
Monitor and evaluate maintenance work performed by technical staff to ensure quality, cost optimization
Manage back to back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors
Monitor (contractors) performance
Assist in the management of technical projects and provide technical support
Manage operations within allocated budget
Confirm monthly expenses for submission to SAP system - approve on SAP
Manage PPM schedules on Archibus in accordance with SLA's
Manage budgets as provided by finance
Manage technical staff performance and facilitate improvement
Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of technical staff
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
National Diploma / Degree or Certificate in Management or Engineering: Electrical / Mechanical /Administration / Facilities / Property or related formal qualification
National Certificate / Diploma / Degree in management: Engineering, Facilities, Retail, Admin
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Valid SA Driver’s License
5yrs relevant experience in maintenance Engineering, Facilities or Retail Management
Engineering maintenance, OHS, Property Management
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledge, Archibus
OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management Systems
Package & Remuneration
R490 000 CTC per annum, neg on experience and qualifications
