Duties & Responsibilities
To provide comprehensive Finance / IT / HR and Procurement Shipping department management decisions in the organisation.
To ensure the smooth running of the Finance/ ITD / HR and Shipping Departments.
To ensure overall business compliance to all laws, regulations and best practices.
To ensure that financial data, daily operational processing and reporting deadlines are accurately met and sustained.
Managing and coordinating the budgetary process estimates for the predicted use of financial resources against the budgeted financial resources during a given fiscal year or period.
Comply with the legal and statutory framework of policies, business processes, procedures and standards pertaining to recording, classifying, monitoring, and reporting of use of disposition of financial resources.
Developing external relationships with appropriate contracts, e.g auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue.

Overview of the Human Resource Management Cycle.
Overview of the Information Technology Department.
Overview of the IT strategy and Information Management Cycles.
Overview of the Procurement Cycle and Importations / Shipping.
Overview of the Stock Management Cycle (Procurement).
Insurance and Risk Management.
Strategy and Business Innovation (Finance, IT, ERP and related).
Overview of the Manufacturing Costing and Overhead Recovery Rates.
Awareness of internal and external stakeholders and apply the skills of
customer are in a specific work environment.
Present information in report format / Highest attention to detail and
financial reporting accuracy / Generate information and reports for internal and external
Facilitate workshop meetings and workshops effectively.
Apply the organisation’s code of conduct, Principle of corporate governance and
ethics, principles of ethics to improve organisational culture, problem solving techniques.
Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the relevant Legislation:

Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995
Regulations in terms of the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995.
Operating computer systems, Intermediate to Advanced MS Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Finance system, i.e. SAP / AX Dynamics and or other.
ERP systems, Strong ERP System Process Knowledge, ERP system implementation
experience or insight.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of 10 years of experience within a senior financial management role.
Proven working experience in managing a full finance department.
Experience in presenting and analysing results to an executive board.
Experience within a similar role requiring strategic input for decision making.
Experienced in managing various finance, IT and HR departments.
Experienced within a manufacturing and costing environment.
Experienced with stock management and procurement Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment Acts and ISO management system would be an advantage.
Experience with overhead recovery rates and job costing accounting principles.
