A leading Electronic Manufacturer in Waltloo is looking for a Project Manager to join their Operations team. Minimum requirements of 5 Years relevant management experience and 10 years’ experience in a technological or manufacturing environment.
Duties/ Job Description:
Liaising with clients
A working knowledge of customer’s future business
The assurance of customer satisfaction
Frequent visiting of customers
Responsible decision making
The basic understanding of the product
The optimizing of project plans recognizing time, material, labour and plant capacity constraints
The prioritizing, in collaboration with other project managers and top-management of the workload of the Company as a whole.
The monitoring of project status through all phases, assisting to keep project on track and report back to the client
The rectifying of slip in project plans
The management of project cash flow and prediction of monthly invoicing
The responsibility for all documentation regarding his/her projects
The responsibility for invoicing of finished products
The consolidation of finished projects
To “market” the Company to existing as well as new clients
S3 In Electronics or appropriate 3 Year Project Management Qualification
10 Years Project Management experience in a Manufacturing or Technical/Engineering Environment
Must read, write and speak at least English fluently
Must have good communication skills over all levels of colleges and clients.
Must have good physical health.
Must be self-motivated.
Must always have a clean and professional appearance and approach.
Must be very observant.
Must have good administration skills and discipline.
Must have a strong personality who is not manipulated or easily intimidated.
Must have good problem solving skills.
Strong managerial skills is essential.
A person who invokes confidence in his peer group and get their co-operation in internal contracting exercises
