Job Description:
Manufacturing company based in the East of Johannesburg has a vacancy for an Accountant. The applicant must be available immediately. Please refer to the requirements for more detailed information.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ideally the company is looking for an Accountant from Manufacturing (cement, concrete, construction or related industries). It would be highly advantageous for the person to be available immediately.
Requirements:
B Comm Degree
6-8 years experience
Bookkeeping experience
Debtors/creditors experience – three staff members reports into this role
Closing reporting periods
Treasury experience including bank reconciliations, hedging foreign payments, petty cash, etc
Financial reporting including month-end and mid-month financial updates
Annual budget and forecast preparation and assistance
Fully proficient in MS Office
SAGE (Accpac) ERP experience
Pastel accounting package experience
