Job Description:
My client based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for a .Net Technical Architect to join them on an independent contract basis
IT
Tasks
Lead the architecture design, development and deployment of cloud-native applications
Participate and collaborate with other stakeholders (PM, BA, QA, Dev, DevOps) to ensure successful project delivery
Lead the establishment of .Net development standards
Ensure that secure and robust coding practices being adhered to
Ensure that the solutions developed are highly available, scalable, maintainable and cost optimized
Participate in technology research to drive platform innovation
Provide mentorship to junior resources
Ensure that the relevant architecture documentation is always up to date
Qualifications and experience
At least 10 years’ experience in C#/.Net and SQL architecting large scale applications and APIs
Implementation experience in .Net Core
At least 5 years’ experience in applying enterprise design and integration patterns
Experience in architecting and developing cloud-native applications
Experience in creating and maintaining DevOps pipelines
Experience with NoSQL
Degree or similar tertiary qualification
Recognized Cloud and/or Architecture certifications
Experience in the financial services industry
Strong planning and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Results-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
Team player capable of working cross-functionally
Willingness to extend yourself and assist other team members
Natural ability to think conceptually and understand complex situations
