An exciting career opportunity exists in Pretoria for a Pavement Engineer/Technical Director at a Consulting Engineering Company within a Civil Engineering environment. If you have the following behavioural competency and experience, we look forward to receiving your application.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Technical Director role requires working collaboratively with a project manager and Director to design and execute specific technical improvements (maintenance, reliability, production, process improvement, management systems, sanitation, supply chain) and lead multiple teams through organizational change efforts of varying size and complexity. This role will utilize change management principles, processes, and tools to focus on driving financial and operational results for our clients, behavioral changes; designing change strategy, assessing stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness, recommending and/or implementing appropriate communication, training, and behavioral change solutions, and measuring effectiveness to enhance organization, group, and individual performance.
Contractual knowledge of the JBCC, GCC, Fidic and NEC forms of Contract
Understanding of Construction Industry
Basic Routine Road Maintenance and/or Road Rehabilitation knowledge
Willingness to travel long distances and work in different locations when required
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
