Training Officer_Flavourants & Colourants with Food Technology background required for reputable and well established client in Midrand to facilitate training and induction at the manufacturing facility
Desired Experience & Qualification
Researching contents and putting it together to train the production team, training them on a weekly basis and setting up tests and providing feedback to management- this is theoretical and will take place in the form of “class room style” teaching with tests being written. This will form part of the production staff KPIs
Looking at our current process implementation and identifying problem areas and suggesting remedies
Training staff on the correct completion of forms and why they are required to complete the form.
Policy training to relevant staff- we have 13 policies that have been implemented. Training needs to be given on each of these to ensure that employees understand and conform. This contributes to the company culture we want to drive in terms of responsibility and accountability.
On-the Job training given to production staff where necessary
Inspection of certain task implementation
On the job training in terms of induction of new staff as well as continued teaching for the 1st 2 weeks that a new staff member joins
Training of current staff where we have picked up that they are making errors on the job- this can be due to poor understanding of their job requirements and company expectations
NCRs- trainer should be copied into all NCRs so that she can implement corrective action and training associated with the requirements.
Medical screening implementation annually and within 30 days of new staff joining the company.
New staff: Induction, policy training, disciplinary code and code of conduct training. Trainer to be informed immediately as a new member is confirmed to join the company so that she can ensure training schedule is prepared, PPE ordered and medical screening where required.
Once new staff are trained by the departmental manager with regards to job specific duties and tasks, trainer be signing off on the training received. This is to happen within 45 days of the start date.
Counselling sessions: trainer to be involved in all sessions so that she can sign off.
Employees will also be required to carry out other functions which would fall within the production boundaries of the business not mentioned above from time to time where adequate training shall be provided. Duties shall be reasonable and legal.
