My client, a well-established engineering concern based in Somerset West, is seeking to employ junior electronics technician to join their team.
The company specialises in development, manufacturing and support of machinery used in the fruit industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Technician is responsible for:
Integration and testing the electronic subsystems
Master the setup of computers of the machines
Site installations, service and fault finding
Quality control
Integration of mechanical product system
Requirements:
Matric
Post Matric qualification in Electrical / Electronics (Diploma / Certificate) or related qualification
Fully bilingual Afrikaans and English
Minimum of two years’ experience
Basic Knowledge of PLC's advantageous
Good communication and writing skills
Strong computer literacy
Willing to work overtime when required
Willingness to travel
Valid driver’s licence
Package & Remuneration
