Job Description:
Our client based in Wadeville is looking for an Operations Manager lead and manage of the Wadeville manufacturing / supply chain facilities of the Company, in line with the agreed standards and targets
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualification
Degree in Chemical Engineering (min: 7 years’ experience in chemical industry) or
BTech in Chemical Engineering with 10 years operation management experience
Demonstrate effective production management skills
Demonstrate good problem-solving skills
Goals orientated person who is capable to introduce process improvements and has capability to coach others.
Good communication, report writing and computer skills
Responsibilities
Ensure Company in Wadeville site complies with legal regulations under SA law and Company standards.
Responsible for site HSES & Quality performance and reporting.
Responsible for site production planning, O.E.E and O.T.I.F. performance
Responsible for operations Variable cost efficiencies
Responsible for site operational & capital budget control.
Formulates and implements initiatives to reduce costs & wastage.
Monitors individual and team performance against set targets / objectives
