Job Description:
My client in the cable manufacturing industry is looking for a Training Facilitator to join their team in Pietermaritzburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Co-ordinate the Competency assessments for all employees on site
Maintain updated skills matrix outlining the competencies of all employees on site
Identify training interventions and training providers for all legal compliance training
Maintain data-base of certification and licenses for all the legal compliance and other trainings conducted on site
Communicate and publish monthly training schedule to all employees on site
Co-ordinate all pivotal training and liaise with training providers regarding facilitation of all pivotal training interventions on the site
Liaise with Apprentices and mentors to ensure that the log books are up-to-date and functional
Internal trainer including programmes such as Induction, Dress Code, Ethics, 6S and Refresher on company policies and procedures
Identify remedial programs for learners who are in need of assistance
Keep accurate records of training including invoices, and maintain the BBBEE database
Comply with the criteria outlined by the MER-seta for the registration of learners on site
Report on the training completed annually as per the Workplace Skills Plans and the Annual Training Report.
Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or related field will be an advantage
Assessor, Moderator and/or SDF Accreditation
At least three years previous experience in a role as a technical trainer or training officer
Proficiency/experience in Cable Manufacturing will be advantageous.
