Job Description:
Based in Dundee we are looking for a Process Technician to do mechanical maintenance on all equipment. Fitter trade test or relevant Diploma /Degree is essential.
A minimum of 5 years processing experience in a blow moulding operation is critical for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Execute all scheduled mechanical maintenance on all equipment in the operation, in line with prescribed schedules, and take appropriate steps to rectify issues arising.
Attend to all work arising from unscheduled downtime on all equipment in the operation and take appropriate steps to rectify.
Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with Safety standards as set out in the OSHACT
Ensure all equipment is operating at the set rates to achieve target quality and output rates.
Ensure all changes overs are executed in line with standard work procedures.
Act as a Coach and mentor to all colleagues within the operation to achieve operational excellence
Desired Experience & Qualification
A Matric Certificate.
Fitter Trade Test Certification or relevant Degree/National Diploma
A minimum of 5 years’ processing experience in a Blow Moulding operation is critical
Excellent analytical and problem solving ability.
Be prepared to overtime and attend to call outs when necessary.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & FSSC 22000 exposure will be advantageous.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent administration skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
