Brief description The position of external sales executive consists of selling our range of enterprise mobile solutions consisting of software, hardware, professional services and integration services. The position requires someone that is experienced in solution selling at senior and middle management levels. Tasks Confer with customers to assess customer needs and to determine system requirements and possible solutions; Perform a sales analysis of customer environments such as warehouse walkthroughs and route rides to determine customer pain points and inefficiencies; Create a Return on Investment document clearly showing the benefits the customer will receive from the proposed solution; Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions; Plan and modify product and solution configurations to better meet customer needs; Prepare and deliver presentations that explain our solution and benefits to customers and prospective customers; Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery; Advise customers on ETA’s; Sell a range of solutions consisting of software, hardware, professional services and integration to Enterprises; Create costing sheets for each solution to determine the optimum sales price; Prospect and solicit new enterprise customers; Meeting monthly and annual sales targets, and gross profit targets Qualifications and requirements Matric. Grade 12 A minimum 5 Years Sales experience with Enterprise Customers; Ability to plan and prioritize sales and sales opportunities; Experience in dealing with corporate accounts with ability to present at executive level High levels of accuracy and standards of quality in work and dealings with customers in a professional customer service-oriented manner Ability to consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; Own and reliable transport Computer Literacy Competencies: Forecasting Accuracy - Having the right products, in the right place, at the right time is key to the company’s success. Not forecasting enough demand and you will miss the sales you need to achieve your business plan. Forecasting too much demand results in inventory building up in your warehouse and means less working capital to spend on driving the business. Creative Business Development - You must develop unique ways to grow the business with your customer and provide solutions to management in the face of challenges. Thorough Business Planning – We work in a complex sales environment consisting of many SKU’ covering, hardware, software and services. Planning is key if you are to execute flawlessly and achieve your business plans. Strong Customer Relationships – You have to be able to build strong customer relationships based on our service-oriented culture. Ensure that promises made are delivered on time and executes as promised. Understand our customer’s business models and help them grow their business. In-Depth Product / Brand Knowledge - Our brands should be at the heart of everything that you do as a AM.
