Job Description:
A global software organization in Johannesburg is looking for a one-of-a-kind software implementer (specifically in Supply Chain/ERP/WMS systems)
The clients' main objective is to provide practical technology products that deliver competitive advantage to their customers, while providing improvements in their operating efficiency and stock control to deliver significant cost savings.
The client is looking for an all-rounder when it comes to implementation, inclusive of project management, and being client facing. The successful candidate will be upskilled in the team, specifically to the software as part of a company designed development plan. The role will work closely with the Design team, Client, Commercial Manager, General Manager, and other relevant team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
The position will involve the following:
Hardware setup to interface with the software and client IT environment.
SSRS Reporting
ERP Integration
Client engagement to identify opportunities
Scope solutions to business problems
Documentation of the software processes and functions implemented.
Execution and delivery of the software solutions
Provide day-to-day consulting assistance for multiple clients
Compile professional reports and presentations for delivery to clients
Develop close relationships with clients to identify additional areas for development and assistance
Training and mentoring junior resources
Travel to local and international customer sites (Own transport and valid passport essential)
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education:
Related Tertiary Qualification (BComm or BsC Information Systems & Business Systems) / (BEng Computer Systems/Electronics)
Experience:
Minimum 3 - 4 years work experience in IT and Project management
Implementation specifically in Supply Chain/ERP/WMS systems
Designing and implementing user set-up, end user training materials
Testing and troubleshooting own work
SQL, queries, Data Analysis
Analysing design documents, project plans, business cases and scope documents to implement IT solutions
Project Management
Ability to multitask and work on different projects simultaneously
Hardware troubleshooting
Excellent communication and negotiation
Advanced Excel skills
