Purpose of the position:
To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals also to maintain strict deadlines and within budget. Project management according to the project schedule. Achieving the target successfully delivered with agreed features. Further, the role of the Regional Project Manager includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Regional Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout project life cycle. Accountable for deliverables including budget, monitoring costs, timely completion of the project, quality and safety. Have full oversight, responsibility and accountability for management of contractors, meeting established milestones on a timely basis. Overall program management, client liaison, as well as guiding and mentoring local staff in the execution of their project related responsibilities. Oversee and monitor site swap work progress to ensure schedule is meeting major milestones according to the plan. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project scope and prepare status reports for management. Responsible for safe and incident free execution of assigned projects, on time and within budget. Work with project teams to drive program / project schedules and contract deliverables with a focus on delivering on every commitment made to the customer. Optimize resources and identify areas where resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities for this Position
The successful applicant will be responsible for, among others, the following functions:
To ensure that he has a complete project understanding and plans according to the project timelines.
Delivery management customer satisfaction:
Provide customers with timely, accurate, high quality, and low cost delivery through effective program management and as per customer requirements and in accordance with the contractual obligations.
Delivery project management:
Enhance the operation maturity of delivery project through delivery project monitoring and problem escalation and early warning of the account department, and be responsible for the customer satisfaction and delivery success of delivery programs.
Be responsible for delivery resources management routines, including workload forecast, requirement forecast, planning, and allocation of delivery resources. Dynamic performance management for all team members and individuals
To ensure that all equipment confirmations are ready according to Project Plan & Schedule.
Oversee material stock available and in transit.
Ensure safe and damage free material delivery to the site.
Problem Solving Management:
Ability to deal and resolve all HR requirements and problems.
Able to manage the customer requirements or problems within the specific Region.
Resolve any technical or non-technical issues that arise during the project by liaising with all stakeholders (Customer, Internal Departments etc.)
Produce all necessary Documentation in order to hand over the Project to the Customer E2E delivery within his Region.
Provide inputs and support to Project Team with regards to any processes that you feel could be improved and take active participation in progressing with the process & changes.
Control, Check and Update Reports within the RPM scope of work.
Keep the Project team up to date with Progress and action plans were applicable to the team and customer to ensure E2E communication.

Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
Key Stakeholders (Internal & External):
Internal: All functions in the Project, All depts in the Project. HR/Admin and the Procurement Department
External: Customers, Service & Resource Provider, Sub-contractors
Checks and Verifies Regional expenses, e.g. claims, kilometers and overtime within RPM approval scope in accordance with Company Policy.
Represents client in all business activities within the Scope of Responsibilities of an RPM.
Have positive attitude towards Internal client , Customer and Sub Contractors
Follow clients absolute rules during all swap scenarios
Health & Safety:
Ensure that all HSE regulations are done according to specific project.
Must be a committed individual, able to interact at all levels.

Must be able to perform other duties as required.

On Call: 100% availability as per project
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
Qualifications, experience and knowledge:
The successful applicant must have the following qualification, experience and knowledge
Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications or Engineering
Previous background of telecommunication and experience of Project Management for at least 3 operators
5 Years’ experience in the telecommunication industry
Experience in management on an international level
Proficient computer skills (MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Project and MS Visio
Certifications in the discipline of Project Management with accreditations such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
General Telecom knowledge with understanding of Core Network (Packet Service and Circuit Service), Transmission Network, Wireless Network (UMTS, GSM, Wimax etc)
Willingness to work and respond to customer complaints 24/7
Good presentation skills and communication
Ability to achieve targets
