Leading insurer based in Johannesburg urgently seeks to appoint a qualified Sales Manager for their VAPS department.
The ideal candidate will be required to have extensive experience within the insurance market with specific focus to short term insurance. A proven track record of leading successful teams is critical as well as the ability to handle team targets and company budgets. The ability to understand as well as speak business Afrikaans is a non negotiable for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Driving a sales team consisting of 15 to 20 Consultants - VAPS
Working towards business budgets and divisional targets
Performance management
Recruitment
Handling all disciplinary matters
Training new staff
Staff motivation
Minimum Requirements:
Able to communicate in business afrikaans
Matric
RE 5
FAIS
3 to 5 years management experience
5 years short term insurance experience
